What is The Dash Bash?
The Dash Bash is a two-day motion design festival with an optional third day of creative experiences that hosts over 500 attendees filled with speakers, hangouts, and parties from May 19th - 21st, 2027.
What does a conference ticket to The Dash Bash get me?
Your conference ticket covers two full days of mainstage presentations on May 20th and 21st, 2027 as well as admission to the official after parties on both of those days. The Workshop and Creative Leaders Summit on May 19th require a seperate ticket.
Why is the conference ticket sold through Ticketmaster and the Creative Leaders Summit and Workshop tickets sold through Eventbrite?
Our main conference is hosted at a venue that requires ticketing through Ticketmaster. For our smaller auxiliary events, we use Eventbrite, which allows us to minimize extra fees for attendees. We know it's an extra step and appreciate your patience.
Are tickets refundable?
Conference and Workshop tickets are non-refundable but can be transferred to another individual. Creative Summit tickets are non refundable and require prior approval to transfer to another individual.
Where should I stay? Are there room blocks?
The conference takes place at 2 E South St, the Workshops at 100 E Davie St, Raleigh, NC 27601, and the Leaders Summit at 308 S Boylan Ave - all in Downtown Raleigh, NC. Room blocks will be announced later this year.
What is there to do in Raleigh, NC?

How do I get around the city?
The entire conference will be walkable, but if you need a ride, Ubers and Lyfts are both widely available and we also have a bus system called GoRaleigh and GoTriangle as well if you prefer to stay outside the city. For those looking to explore the state of North Carolina, we would suggest renting a car as it’s the best method for getting around.
What’s the schedule for The Bash?
The full festival schedule will be updated closer to the event, but in general, expect full days that start around 9am EST with programming ending closer to 5pm EST. You can see approximate schedules on the conference, workshop, and leaders summit pages.
Are meals included?
We will have coffee, tea and water available during portions of the event but you will be responsible for your own food. Raleigh has a world-renowned food scene and we will publish a list of our favorite restaurants closer to the event. If you are attending the Creative Leaders Summit, there will be a catered lunch available for attendees.
What’s Raleigh’s weather like in May?
In May, Raleigh, North Carolina, typically experiences warm, pleasant, and somewhat humid weather, with temperatures ranging from highs around 80°F–83°F (27°C–28°C) to lows of 55°F–63°F (13°C–17°C). It is considered a transitional month where spring moves toward summer-like conditions, with frequent sunshine but also a moderate chance of rain and occasional afternoon thunderstorms.
Will we be live streaming the event?
Not at this current time, but main stage presentations will be recorded and released.
Why doesn’t the conference ticket cover Workshops or the Creative Leaders Summit as well?
Workshops and the Creative Leaders Summit are separately ticketed events that require additional resources and funding to produce. We keep them distinct so attendees can choose the experiences that are most relevant to them
