The Dash Bash Demo Duel is a bracket competition where 16 demo reels face off to crown one champion. The audience votes live at the Bash to determine which reels advance, leading to a final round to crown the winner!
A panel of expert judges will pick the 16 finalists.
Finalists will have their work seen by industry professionals.
All who enter have a chance to win a prize.

No! Anyone can enter, even if they don’t plan on coming. That said, we hope you’ll consider joining us if you’re chosen as a finalist so you have the chance to accept your prize live should you win.

Run Time - Should be exactly 30-seconds
Delivery - A 1920x1080p .mp4 file, H264 codec no longer than 200mb in size

Nope, each reel must reflect the work of an individual. It’s fine to submit work you’ve made at a studio, of course, but you should be a primary part of the team that made the work and you should not submit work made by others even if they work with you at the same place.

You do not need to specifically have rights to the work shown, but you MUST have permission to present anything including audio. If you show a clip from something that’s under an NDA and get in trouble, Dash Bash is not liable.
